Una Mezza Pizza

half a pizza

Ever wondered how those Italians eat SO much? The truth is, they don't. They don't always order every course (a myth I'm convinced is perpetuated by industrious restauranteurs.) We were at dinner and you wouldn't guess what they ordered...

Half a pizza or "una mezza pizza." Sure, a pizza in Italy might only cost 5-7 euros, but when I'm traveling I hate leaving food behind. And, it happens sometimes when I'm trying to eat an entire pizza. Next time you're dining out in Italy, test it out and see if they'll let you order half. You'll save some money and room in your stomach for dessert.
