Travellious Test Labs: WhatchyaGot Bag

The WhatchyaGot bag suits it's name perfectly. Regardless of what you've got, there's a spot for it in this bag designed by Julie Gallegos. As she watched her father battle cancer, she saw a need that traditional bags did not meet. As Julie designed a bag to hold his medications, vitamins and other personal supplies, all while keeping them organized, she realized that she had stumbled upon something. She's decided to share this act of love with the world and the WhatchyaGot bag was born. Keep on reading to see what I thought about the bag.

As someone who loves organization, the WhatchyaGot bag's variety of storage immediately caught my eye. The medium-sized bag unzips to reveal a plethora of pockets and bands that will keep your stuff at bay, regardless of how you choose to use it. See-through mesh pockets, tight elastic bands and even an insulated cooler pocket allows you a variety of ways to stash your stuff.

I decided to test it out for myself and thought it best suited my needs as a toiletry bag. As I packed it up for a roadtrip to the coast, I immediately loved that it unzipped to flat. It made packing a snap and I was already feeling more organized.

I slid a variety of toiletries through the bands for easy access and organized the smaller bits and pieces in the zipper pockets.

A removable pouch solved a problem that has plagued me for years, fitting all of my makeup into one place. The bottles and containers of varying shapes and sizes all fit nicely in the pouch, which then slid into an inner pocket. No more digging through a bag for eyeliner or hunting all over the bag for makeup in the morning.

As a toiletry bag, it worked perfectly. In fact, I can't remember a time where I've felt so organized on a trip. I could carry it into the shared bathroom and hang it from its handle while I got ready each morning and quickly gathered my belongings and toted them back to my room. I also found a clever use for the insulated pouch, while not using it for its temperature control, but instead as a place to stash my not quite dry nylon shower towel scrubber as I packed to head home.

I can see this bag suiting a variety of travelers who have a need to stay organized while on the road. Either as a lightweight carry-on bag for the plane or stashing snacks and entertainment for a long roadtrip. The WhatchyaGot bag comes in five prints and sells for $49.97 at http://www.whatchyagotbags.com

WhatchyaGot provided me with a review copy of their bag, however my opinions and experience remain my own.
