It's travel month over on the home design blog, Apartment Therapy. (In a former life, I helped launch their technology blog and wrote about all things techie in the home.) This month they've dished out packing tips, provided hotels to lust after and discussed travel logistics. Here's a sampling of some of my favorite travel-inspired posts this month.

8 Tiny Getaways: From Cabins to Cabanas
Hotel alternatives packed with style in teeny tiny packages.

In Flight Comfort: Travel Pillows and Compact Blankets
Since on many flights you've got to BYOP&B (bring your own pillow and blanket), they've dug up some .

Historic Hotels from Around the World
Like a bit of architectural history when you travel? Check out their roundup of historic hotels to stay in.

What Is Your Favorite Travel Guide?

Stylish Suitcases & Luggage
Super cute, but super expensive luggage. I'm in love with the $1600 yellow suitcase. That's one way to ensure you spot your luggage on the carousel.

25 Great U.S. Shopping Destinations: Coast to Coast
Rounding up what they know best: where to travel to AND shop for your home in the United States.

The Organized Traveler: Packing Tips
Pretty standard stuff, but always good to be reminded of the basics from time to time.

Really BIG Souvenirs: Treasures for Home from Travel
A great story of an oversized rug and figuring out how to bring it home. What have you struggled with to bring home from your travels?
