Road Junky To Drink The Local Water
Do real, hard-core, travelers drink bottled water? I used to think no, like the article's author, but sometimes even the locals don't even drink local water.
Forks and Jets Sweet and Sticky Swords and Breasts
A confusing title for a delicious & tantilizing post. 2 second summary? Eat sweets in Turkey.
Joydrive Teaching Internationally
Teaching internationally is a great way to live abroad, and have a great time doing it. But you know that right? :)
The bigger lesson from this post: take people up on offers of hospitality!
Are you gonna eat that? Moncton: Barnyard BBQ
It's no secret that I have a huge weakness for bbq, especially when it comes in unexpected places. For me, proper BBQ and Canada don't typically go together, but when you throw a brewpub into the equation, you've got me, hook, line and sinker. It looks a little clean for a bbq place, but they've got beer, pulled pork, and sweet potato fries, so they're in for a visit from me the next time I'm in New Brunswick.

Thanks for the link to my ice cream post. Mmmm ice cream... I finally tried that avocado ice cream last night, but I think I'm going to have to abstain from ice cream for a month or so.
I'm going to explore your other links. It's nice there's a manageable amount - I think I do too many in my best of the web posts.
great links to explore!
Thanks for the mention, Austin. Just to warn you, I've been told by several Americans that Canadian BBQ still just isn't the same as down South. But Barnyard BBQ is still worth a try if you're in that part of New Brunswick.
Hi Austin,
Thanks for mentioning Joydrive! We totally support taking people up on their offers of hospitality. Neither one of us can say a bad thing about it. People are kind, helpful and generous and, if you think like that, they live up to it.
As far as the BBQ goes I think you need to head down to Argentina and Uruguay for some asado - think meat and more meat, in fact, just meat.
