Zoomata Italian Museum Says: Touch the Paintings, You Know You Want To
It looks like the Uffizi Gallery in Firenze is using touch-screen technology to let you get a closer look at some of its paintings. This time, you won't have a guard yelling at you and waggling their finger at you. I wouldn't want the job of cleaning those things off at the end of the day, though.

Tamarind and Thyme Il Gelato di San Crispino, Rome
Su-lin shares her thoughts on one of Rome's gelato slingers. (Also, I love her last photo.)

Forks and Jets A Culinary Babushka
I love it when these two do food posts, and they've done an epic one on the food of the Balkans. It's loaded with lots of great photos, so don't read it when you're hungry. You've been warned.

Globespotters Jellyfish and All, a Gem in Rome’s Chinatown
It seems that, after years and years of thumbing their noses, Romans (and perhaps Italians in general) are finally discovering the beauty in other cultures' cuisines. Globespotter's profiles one such Chinese restaurant in Rome, which along with kebab, is helping to blaze the trail into Italians' stomachs. Chinese food in Italy, who would have thunk it?
