Cool Product: Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds
We've all had to do it. Washing clothes while you're traveling can be a royal pain, especially during the summer when your clothes get a little (a lot) stinkier than usual. A simple household cleaner may be just the solution for your travel cleaning problems. Traditional cleaners are sold in convenient travel packs, but have left us far from satisfied. Clothes may get a little cleaner, but things just don't smell clean. If you're counting on cleaning your clothes in your hotel room to get you through your trip, you can be in for an unpleasant surprise. However, we've found that Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds do an awesome job at cleaning clothes (along with floors, walls, cars, dishes, etc.) in the sink, even with cold water. So, next time you're packing for a trip, include a small bottle of Sal Suds and you'll be able to use your baggage space for more souvenirs instead of underwear.
Best Ways to Pack Light and Look Fabulous
Women are notoriously terrible packers, but rightfully so. We need to be prepared for any situation and, frankly, we just have way more options than you men. But, if you're lugging your own suitcase, those few extra pairs of shoes get old really quickly. Here's my top five tips for packing a bag full of style that YOU can actually carry.
Quick Tip: Getting To New York City from JFK
I recently flew to New York into JFK airport, and being the savvy traveler that I am (read cheap), I decided in advance that I wanted to take the AirTrain. The AirTrain is a light rail system that connects JFK to both the subway system and Long Island Rail Road. There's a bunch of information about it on AirTrain's Site and Wikipedia, but nobody tells you how to buy a ticket. Until now.

Cool Product: Passport Socks
We hate the moneybelt. Nothing makes you look more like a paranoid tourist than one of those things. Plus who really wants to go digging into their pants every time they need to pay for something. They are just not cool, and we've sworn them off. Our motto: use a little common sense, and a bit of extra caution. We still haven't had a thing stolen.
But, maybe we're lucky. Our paranoid inner voice saw these Passport Socks ($24.99), and it made us reconsider. Now this is a way better alternative to the money belt. Slide your important docs into your sock, and they are out of sight and considerably less dorky than a money belt. Unless it's summer, and you're in Europe walking around with your socks to your knees. So please, consider these for cooler weather trips, we don't want you looking like a fool.
