Like many travelers, Robin Locker's physical self often exists far away from her heart. One lives in the Hudson Valley, the other is constantly touring Europe, drinking espresso and scouting out the next great meal. This, is a problem I can sympathize with. Read our interview below to get a deeper look at the lady also known as My Melange.
Cherie and Chris are living the dream...that is their dream....to travel the country on their own terms and at their own pace. They're part of a new breed of wanderers, the technomad or an itinerant person who remains connected to the internet. I just got back from two weeks on the road and I'm totally addicted. Life on your own pace, waterfront property (often for free) and the ability to see those wide open skies on a regular basis. Chris, Cherie and their kitty, Kiki, have been living this life for the past two years. We asked them to share their story and their travel advice below.
While some people take time to discover their travel addiction, Katie Parla discovered her love early on, and has been going ever since. She's an avid traveler, writer, and foodie who's got some great stories to tell, which she shares over at her aptly named blog, Katie Parla. We were lucky enough to be able to interview her and share her story with you.
Kristin is lucky enough to travel the world for a living. What she doesn't cover with her day job, she shares on her blog Camels & Chocolate. With 40 countries and 44 US states under her belt, we figured she might know a thing or two about the art of travel. So, we asked her to stop by and share her tips for traveling the globe.
Audrey and Dan have been traveling the world, one step at a time (and have the counter to prove it.) We asked them to share their travel tips from their adventures around the world, and you can read more about their travels on their site Uncornered Market.
What's the longest road trip you've ever been on? A few days, or maybe even a week? We managed to catch up with Kelsey and Tom, who are on a road trip spanning two continents. Despite the fact that they're on a voyage of massive proportions, they've managed to create an excellent blog, Joydrive, where they share their experiences, photos, and funny stories from their trip. For more on them and their trip, check out our interview below.
Have you ever you ever wondered what it would be like to live and work in South America? Ernest is currently teaching in Colombia, writing about his life and travels on his site, Fly Brother, and changing the misconceptions about African-American people and culture, one person at a time. We caught up with Ernest and got him to share his thoughts and photos of life on the road.

Jessica Stewart must have thrown a coin in the Trevi on her first visit to Rome. As legend has it, those who toss a coin into the famous fountain, will undoubtedly return. She lives and breathes Rome, sharing her photos of La Città Eterna on RomePhotoBlog, and works with Context Travel to share a different view of Rome to those who visit. Check out our interview below to see this Italophile's take on the art of travel.

Some travel for food, some for art, and some people are searching for that special place in the world that speaks to them. Our first interviewee, and a long-time friend of mine, has been fortunate enough to find that place in Lebanon. Over the past few years, he's been traveling there to do volunteer work, and in the process has found a second home. His experiences have given him a unique perspective on travel, one that I couldn't help but want to share. Check out our interview below to see what he's learned about packing light, traveling in unfamiliar places, and simply traveling well.
