Located off the coast of Italy, it's home to 1.7 million Sardinians (whose ancestry is varied and ancient), over 9,000 nuraghe (conical towers dating from 1000 BC), and a whole lotta white sand. Whether you're an outdoorsman or prefer a tropical drink, the island of Sardinia offers a plethora of sandy locales. Today we're daydreaming of Italia....Sardegna-style.
