Do you have trouble sleeping when you're away from home? If you do, what do you do to help you sleep?

I don't tend to have many troubles sleeping when I'm on the road, I can sleep almost anywhere, except on a plane. Sometimes I need an eye mask if it's too bright, but most of the time I'm so worn out that I simply pass out as soon as I hit the bed.

First few nights away I find it hard to sleep - I always pack a pillow case from home...creature comforts an all that, smells like home :P
I normally pass out easily as well, but it's staying asleep that can sometimes be the problem. You never realize how disturbing that dog barking or the rooster crowing or the guy down the hall clearing his throat (happens often in Asia) can be until it's too late and you're already woken up and then can't get back to sleep.
I never used earplugs before this trip and now I can't imagine living without them on the road. Earplugs can do wonders.
My fiance had trouble sleeping away from home until I started buying him audio books for his iPod. They put him to sleep in minutes!
I use A Sound Night's Sleep (Guided Self-hypnosis) by Brian Walsh on my iPod. I found him to have the least irritating voice for this type of thing.
At home there is nothing quite like the BBC's Shipping Forecast to send me off.
