Riding the BC Ferry

[adsense:468x60:6645408381]

We picked up our HUGE RV last night and hopped on an evening ferry to Galiano Island, BC. We were treated to a sunset, porpoise sightings and a local's tips for what we should see here in Galiano. Our forested campground was a welcome sight and it was definitely nice to not have to pitch a tent in the dark.

I love the postcard.. super cute! That's the best part of an RV - once you get backed into the campsite, you can just crash if you need to, no tent pitching, mattress inflating, etc. necessary. :-) Have fun!

I just spent a few weeks on Vancouver Island... and camped. And yes, I pitched the tent nearly every night, in the dark... next time, I'll get a campervan or an RV - it sounds so much more civilized! :-)
