Photo Friday: Fall in Durham, England
On a hot August day like today, I need a little escape. So, I've let my mind wander back to a trip a few years ago where we had the opportunity to visit the small town of Durham in northern England. Green and lush with a scenic river surrounding the town, it provided the perfect spot for long walks and quiet reflection.
The highlight of the town is the Durham Cathedral which towers over the city. After you've finished taking in the sites and history, be sure to wander downhill to the cobblestone streets. In this quaint college town, you'll find a mix of rowdy pubs, cheap eats and ample shopping. We got a chance to live the college life by staying in the dorms of Durham University while they were on break. If you're lucky, you could even end up staying in the castle.

Every Friday we're taking part in the "Photo Friday" series on Delicious Baby, where anyone can share a favorite travel photo. If you're interested in participating, more details are here.

I especially love the bridge photo...I'm fascinated by bridges and love photographing them, too.
I love the way the bridge reflects in the water. So peaceful.
Isn't Durham beautiful? I love it. I also love your website design, it's cute and quirky and clean at the same time. Awesome!
Thank you so much for sharing these photos. Looking at that bridge makes me feel so calm.
