The Elkep Evi Cave Hotel in Cappadocia, Turkey allows you to step back in time without having to leave behind any modern luxuries. The hotel, like much of Cappadocia, is literally carved into rock and makes for a truly unique overnight experience. One thing is for sure, these hotel walls will save you a phone call to the front desk to complain about your neighbors.

The rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities one comes to expect from a hotel. Most rooms have their own private terrace and breakfast can be enjoyed in their hilltop garden. Prices range from 50 euros for a single room to 160 euros for a double with a Turkish bath ensuite. For more information, check out their website.

    That's great!
Here in Italy we have something like this but.. bigger! It's a town, called Matera, which has got a whole area built in the cave, called i Sassi. There's even a website: http://www.sassiweb.it/

That's really a nice hotel! Wonder if it's warm or cool in the cave room?

Regarding your question about Singapore and Taiwanese foods, I would say Singapore food gets the flavours from the 4 main races: Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian.. so you get to taste their delicacies literally in every food court in Singapore. Singaporeans love spicy food too, whereas Taiwanese food is mainly Chinese food. =)

Wow, that looks cool! I'm glad (though surprised) to see they've got windows in the cave, too. Looks like a place I'll have to explore some day... Thanks for the tip!
