Tripit.com is a relatively new site that specializes in helping travelers keep their plans organized, without having to do a lot of work. If you've ever tried to plan a long trip with many destinations, you may appreciate what they're trying to do.

Tripit, while still in beta, already has many features worthy of applause. Their most impressive tool allows you to email them your flights, hotel reservations, car rentals and more, and automatically have them processed into a complete itinerary. Gone forever are the days of having to create elaborate documents to keep yourself organized.

You can also add trip features by hand, share your itinerary, and plan collaboratively with friends. Once your itinerary is complete, you can even view it on a mobile device. So, if you are going to be connected for your entire trip, you can save a few trees and keep your plans electronic.
