Back to the Beach: Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik, which lies on the southern Dalmatian coast, nestled along the shores of the Adriatic Sea, is gifted with more than its fair share of beauty.
On the Sand: While Dubrovnik's many beaches are more pebbly than sandy, they all provide the necessary ingredients for a good time. One part sun, two parts water, and an umbrella make an irresistible combination. In addition to lounging, you've got your choice of swimming, diving, sailing, or the local favorite: water polo.
When the Sun Goes Down: When you're tired of the beach, you can party it up in one of the local discos. However, you'd be more likely to find me in a bar, sipping on a beer and watching the locals.
When it Rains: What better to do when it's not so nice out, but see the town itself? Dubrovnik used to be a fortress and still has its old-school walls, check out the City Walls to get a sense of what it used to be like.
