BC Local News Vancouver's Canada Line To Open Early, in August
Good news for anyone looking to go to Vancouver before the Olympics: the new Canada Line of their light rail system will be completed in August, months ahead of the original November planned launch. Travelers will then be able to get to/from the airport from downtown (and around metro Vancouver) via rail.

BBC First Thai-Laos Rail Link Opened
The first rail link between Thailand and Laos has opened, offering both passenger and freight service between the two countries.
