Take a local trip and see home from an outsiders perspective.

We love the occasional roadtrip, and often find ourselves taking them without planning it. Turn that trip to grandma's or that extra long errand into an adventure with a few unplanned stops along the way. Go to city hall, stroll through the historical society, or head to the town down the road for an afternoon of aimless wandering. Every time you leave your home, you have a chance to take a mini trip. You don't need to save up all your exploration mojo for that trip four months down the road, turn every weekend into an adventure.
Not sure where to start? Pick up a map, close your eyes, and pick a spot. Or, head down to your city's center and check out all those hotspots that on a tourist's "must see" list.
Great concept. Our family is actually in the process of launching a new business in '09 around this very concept.
