The CCTV headquarters designed by Rem Koohaas and Ole Scheeren in Beijing is a modern take on the traditional tower. More of a sculpture than a skyscraper, it offers a stark contrast against the backdrop of Beijing. Rudenoon's flickr set allows you a peek into its stages of construction and get a feel for how the tower was built.

Gorgeous! like a more modern take on La Défense in Paris
Yet another reason to go back to Beijing
That will be an amazing building when it is finished. It is sleekly designed, but not overly done to take away from the functionality. Should look great.
