A failproof technique is to look for low cost hotels on Tripadvisor that sit fairly high in the rankings. The reviews can be spotty with the occasional whiner who wanted something for nothing. Listen to those who warn of bedbugs, but take the rest with a grain of salt. Some good contenders we spotted were the Chelsea Lodge, Pod Hotel, and the Bed and Breakfast Mont Morris.
